When to turn photos into a PDF
One PDF is easier to send and print than a pile of photos: a passport scan with all pages, receipts for a report, homework photos, documents for a visa or university application. The order of pages is kept and the file opens on any device.
A4 or image size
A4 fits each image on a standard page with margins — choose it if the document will be printed. Image size makes each page exactly the size of the photo, with no white borders — good for viewing on screen.
Questions
Is image quality reduced?
No. JPG and PNG are placed into the PDF as they are, without re-compression.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser with JavaScript, so your files are never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.
Is it free? Are there limits?
It’s free, with no sign-up and no watermarks. The only limit is your device’s memory: very large files can take a little longer on a phone.
