Resize images
Set an exact width and height in pixels or scale by percent. Resize many photos at once, right in your browser.
Files never leave your deviceHow it works
- Add one or many photos.
- Choose percent or pixels. With “Keep proportions” on, enter just the width or the height.
- Download the resized photos.
When you need to resize a photo
Sites and forms often require an exact size: an avatar of 400×400, a product photo of 1200 px, a document scan no wider than 2000 px. A smaller photo also loads faster and takes less space, because file size drops roughly with the square of the dimensions.
Pixels or percent
Use pixels when you know the exact size you need. Use percent to shrink a batch of photos of different sizes evenly — for example, 50% turns 4000×3000 into 2000×1500. Upscaling beyond 100% doesn’t add detail, so it’s better to start from the original.
Questions
Will my photo be stretched?
Not while “Keep proportions” is on: the photo fits inside the size you set and keeps its shape.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser with JavaScript, so your files are never sent anywhere. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.
Is it free? Are there limits?
It’s free, with no sign-up and no watermarks. The only limit is your device’s memory: very large files can take a little longer on a phone.
